Students

There are a variety of specializations within Finance/Accounting. This includes opportunities in areas such as:

Audit where interns may test the adequacy of internal controls or compliance with policy

General Ledger which can allow an intern to work with balance sheet reconciliation and to participate in the month end close process

Fixed Assets where they could schedule, analyze and allocate monthly depreciation expenses

Credit where they might assist in the evaluation and extension of credit to customers.

Finance interns may be directly involved in a particular line of business such as Technology or Manufacturing working with account reconciliation, annual budgeting, monthly forecasts, variance analysis and physical inventory audits. Manufacturing interns will have the opportunity to work either in St. Louis or one of our manufacturing plants: Muscatine, IA; Luling, LA; or Soda Springs, ID.
