Germination Necklace

When we look around at the grass and trees and flowers that surround us, it’s easy to forget that all plants start out as seeds. All seeds need the same things to germinate: moisture, warmth, light, and air, and as they grow they’ll need nutrients, too. In this experiment, we will use the warmth of our bodies to germinate a seed so we can observe the process up close.
